EaseStudio Shipping & Delivery Policy

Effective date: 10 September 2026

At EaseStudio, we aim to make delivery as simple and reliable as possible. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed and delivered within South Africa.

1. Delivery within South Africa

EaseStudio currently offers delivery within South Africa using Aramex Store-to-Door.

Orders are delivered directly to the delivery address provided during checkout.

Estimated delivery time

Our standard estimated delivery time is:

8–11 business days

This is an estimated delivery timeframe, rather than a guaranteed delivery date.

Business days are Monday to Friday and exclude South African public holidays.

The estimated delivery period may be affected by circumstances outside EaseStudio's reasonable control, including courier network disruptions, severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, public emergencies, incorrect or incomplete delivery information, remote-area service limitations, or other force-majeure events.

Aramex itself states that its standard Store-to-Door transit times can vary by destination and that remote/outlying areas may take longer than its standard transit time.

2. Order processing

Orders are processed after successful payment has been received.

The estimated 8–11 business day delivery period applies from the point at which the order has been processed for shipment, unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page or at checkout.

We will make reasonable efforts to dispatch orders promptly.

Once your order has been handed to the courier, you may receive tracking information where available.

3. Tracking

Where tracking is available, customers will receive the relevant tracking information by email or another appropriate communication method.

Customers can use the tracking information to monitor the progress of their shipment.

Once an order has been handed to the courier, delivery is performed through the courier's network and is subject to the courier's operating procedures and terms.

4. Courier delays

EaseStudio does not guarantee that a parcel will arrive on a particular day unless we have expressly agreed to a guaranteed delivery date in writing.

Although we work with Aramex to facilitate delivery, delays can occasionally occur after an order has been dispatched.

Where a delay is caused by circumstances outside EaseStudio's reasonable control, including courier network delays, adverse weather, strikes, public emergencies, natural disasters, road closures, incorrect or incomplete address information, or other force-majeure circumstances, EaseStudio will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from that delay, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

However, this clause does not exclude or limit any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, or any other applicable South African law.

5. Delays beyond the estimated delivery period

If your order has not arrived within the estimated 8–11 business day period, please contact us at:

easestudioza@gmail.com

We will investigate the shipment with the courier and provide you with the available tracking information and assistance.

If an order remains undelivered beyond the agreed delivery period, EaseStudio will deal with the matter in accordance with applicable South African law.

For electronic transactions, ECTA provides that a supplier must execute an order within the agreed period, and where the supplier fails to do so, the consumer may have cancellation rights after the applicable notice period.

6. Incorrect delivery information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information at checkout.

This includes:

  • Full name;
  • Correct street address;
  • Suburb;
  • City/town;
  • Postal code;
  • Contact telephone number; and
  • Any relevant apartment, unit, estate or business information.

If an order cannot be delivered because incorrect or incomplete information was provided by the customer, additional delivery charges may apply where permitted by law.

We may contact the customer to obtain corrected delivery information.

7. Missed deliveries

Aramex may attempt delivery in accordance with its delivery procedures.

If the recipient is unavailable, the courier may contact the recipient or make further delivery arrangements in accordance with the courier's procedures.

Customers should ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel at the provided delivery address.

Additional delivery attempts or charges resulting from circumstances attributable to the customer may be charged where permitted by law.

8. Remote and outlying areas

Certain South African locations may require additional delivery time.

Aramex states that remote/outlying and regional areas may take longer than standard delivery times because service frequency is not guaranteed for those areas. Additional charges may also apply in certain circumstances.

If an additional courier charge is required before delivery can take place, we will communicate this to the customer where reasonably possible.

9. Damaged parcels

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, please take photographs of the packaging and product and contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

easestudioza@gmail.com

Please provide:

  • Your order number;
  • Photographs of the parcel;
  • Photographs of the packaging;
  • Photographs of the product; and
  • A description of the damage.

We may need to provide this information to the courier when investigating a delivery-related claim.

Reporting damage promptly helps us resolve the matter efficiently, but does not remove any statutory rights you may have under South African law.

10. Lost parcels

If tracking indicates that your parcel has been lost or the parcel has not arrived within the applicable delivery period, please contact us.

EaseStudio will investigate the matter with the courier.

Where the goods remain at EaseStudio's risk under applicable law, EaseStudio will provide the remedy required by law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to transfer risk to the customer before delivery where South African law places that risk on the supplier.

11. Delivery risk and liability

EaseStudio will take reasonable steps to ensure that orders are properly packaged, addressed and handed to the courier for delivery.

Once an order has been handed to Aramex, the physical transportation of the parcel is performed by the courier.

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, EaseStudio will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising solely from a courier delay or disruption outside EaseStudio's reasonable control.

This limitation does not exclude:

  • Liability that cannot legally be excluded;
  • A consumer's statutory rights;
  • Liability arising from EaseStudio's own unlawful conduct;
  • Remedies available under the CPA or ECTA; or
  • Any rights relating to defective, unsafe or incorrectly supplied goods.

12. Delivery fees

Any applicable delivery fee will be displayed at checkout before the customer completes the purchase.

Where applicable, delivery charges form part of the total transaction price disclosed to the customer.

ECTA requires online suppliers to disclose the full price of goods, including transport costs and other applicable fees or costs.

13. Undeliverable orders

If an order cannot be delivered because:

  • The address is incorrect;
  • The recipient cannot reasonably be located;
  • The recipient repeatedly refuses or fails to accept delivery;
  • The customer provides insufficient delivery information; or
  • The courier is otherwise unable to complete delivery for reasons attributable to the customer,

the parcel may be returned to EaseStudio or dealt with in accordance with the courier's procedures.

If a parcel is returned to us, we will contact the customer to arrange the next steps.

Any additional delivery costs resulting from circumstances attributable to the customer may be payable by the customer, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Force majeure

EaseStudio will not be responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Severe weather;
  • Floods;
  • Fires;
  • Strikes;
  • Civil unrest;
  • Road closures;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Public emergencies;
  • Significant courier network disruptions;
  • Infrastructure failures; or
  • Other circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented or avoided.

This clause applies only to the extent permitted by applicable South African law and does not remove statutory consumer rights.

Aramex's own terms similarly recognise force-majeure circumstances affecting its delivery obligations.
